Catherine Madjaric (she/her)
I found a crochet hook in my mother’s dresser drawer when I was a child. I asked her to show me how to use it, but she could not remember. Years later, my mother-in-law taught my young daughter to crochet, and she, in turn, taught me. I quickly learned that gauge was something that I would never be able to meet, so I started designing my own simple patterns: Scarves were my friend. Years of trial and error later, I still have much to learn but would like to inspire others to try their own designs by sharing my creative process and projects.
